Digital Citizenship

I found that the statistics were fairily accurate as to what I do with my own devices. I probably text the most becasue it’s how I keep in contact with all my friends and I probably create things the least because I usually have no reason to. An upside to this lifestyle would be staying in contact with friends or family. It’s a big help when connecting with others and for society as a whole. I generally connect with others on didgital media. Digital footprints become public so people can view what you’ve posted throughout your life. It helps colleges narrow down applicants as well as people applying for jobs. It is important to have positive things on these footprints like activities you participate in. Cyber bullying is a constant problem all throughout the world. It is important that people stand up to cyber bullies instead of becoming a bystander and just letting it happen. Together we can change the world.

School’s Back

When school started up again I was immediately hit with AP Chemistry and English as well as AP Geometry. I was certainly not expecting so much out of the first week of school, but you do what you got to do. As for extracuricular activities, our fist football game starts today and I’m playing with the band for our first performance. It should be pretty fun.

Space and the Universe

Ever since I was a boy, I’ve always wanted to go to the Moon. The moon has always interested me because it causes the high and low tides. It also goes through eight phases that interest me as well. If I was the moon I would want to be a Full moon because it is my favorite and you can see one full half of the Moon! My second favorite is the new moon because you can’t see the Moon at all! I’ve always wanted to explore outer space as well. There are so many interesting things in the universe that we don’t understand like other planets and stars. There is only one star in our solar system and that is the Sun. Without the Sun, life on Earth wouldn’t exist! The Sun isn’t the only star in the universe either. There are millions of stars in the universe! There are big stars, little stars, hot stars, and cold stars! Planets are another interesting thing in our galaxy. Other than our planet, there are seven big planets and two dwarf planets. The big planets are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune. The dwarf planets are Pluto and Ceres. Pluto used to be a planet but was later changed to a dwarf planet. Comets are another thing that interest me. They are giant rocks made of ice and gas that orbit the Sun. The most famous comet is Halley’s comet. I have always wanted to be a comet to see what it is like to go all around space! It comes around earth every seventy-five years. The next time it will be visible from Earth is on July 28, 2061. That is forty-nine years from now! The last time it came around Earth was on February 9, 1986. Outer space is one of the most interesting things in the world! There are so many things that we could learn from it. I hope you have enjoyed my story over space and the entire universe!
